Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section of blade is rectangular, cross-section of butt is oval. Surface of blade is ground with some flaking, surface of butt is bruised. Minor differentiation between butt and blade where surface changes, and sides slightly reduced. Front slopes down towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is sharp and straight. Otago Central written on front.
