Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Dark grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal with back narrower than front. Surface is ground, some flaking on back of butt towards poll. and bruising on front edges of butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll, sides reduced through bruising. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, very small chips along cutting edge. Otago Central written on front.
