Gouge, Whao
Complete pounamu gouge. The cross section is an oval. The surface is ground with bruising at the poll and cutting edge on both sides. There are sawing marks on the proper right. There is minor demarcation of the butt and blade, with the sides tapering to the poll. The bevel is flaked off. The cutting edge is curved and blunt.
