Broken adze (butt and upper blade remaining). Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground, with bruising on butt and across proper left of back. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge not present. "Kaikoura" written on back.
