Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Mid grey, cream. Cross-section is oval. Surface of blade is ground, surface of butt is bruised. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front and sides slightly reduced. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Fragments of cutting edge missing on proper right side, but broken edges appear to be smoothed. Papatowai District written on front and back.
