Pendant, He Kura
Mostly complete pounamu/nephrite pendant, small part broken off the distal end. Inanga variety, pale milky green with light brown flecks. Surface is ground smooth. Proximal end is rounded with a suspension hole drilled from each side. There is a kink in the centre of the pendant, with a notch on one edge and corresponding projection on the opposite side. Tapers toward the distal end. Ref Comparatively Speaking p54 (4.22)
