Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Dark grey, mid grey. Cross-section is oval. Surface is mostly ground, becoming more bruised towards butt. Butt previously broken in 2 places, visible cracks, now fixed. Major differentiation between butt and blade, front heavily reduced after small ridge, large shoulder. Sides taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a ridge at chin. Cutting edge is sharp and curved. Small chip on proper right side of cutting edge. Papatowai written on front. Red circular sticker on front; "Duff".
