Adze, Toki

Complete unfinished adze. Black stone. The cross-section is trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front. The surface is flaked, with natural stone texture on the proper right side and ground areas on the lower blade. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The bevel is demarcated by an irregular oblique ridge. The cutting edge is straight and sharp with some chips.
