Pendant, He Kura
Soapstone pendant, broken on distal end and at the suspension hole. Some pieces have broken off and been glued back together. Light green and light brown colour. Anthropomorphic or lizard form. There are two raised circular features carved on each side. On one side, the circles have carved spirals and there is a hollow circular groove missing an inlay just below the broken suspension hole. On the other side, there are hollow circular grooves with missing inlays and two half-circular grooves just below the broken suspension hole. Distal end has some projections, but they are broken and difficult to identify. Ref Comparatively Speaking p66 (4.83)
