Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Dark brown. Oval cross-section. The surface is mostly bruised with flake scars on the front and back of the blade and the poll. There are ground sections on the front and back of the bevel. There is a rounded shoulder on the front of the blade and a reduction in the stone at the front and sides of the butt. The bevel is continuous with the blade but demarcated by its difference in surface. The cutting edge is curved, asymmetrical and slightly concave.
