Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground, with some bruising on sides ad butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll, and back of butt slopes up towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp. Large chip missing on the proper right side, small chips on the proper left side and mid-cutting edge. Hedgehope Southland written on front.
