Adze, Toki
Broken adze (large fragment missing from proper left blade). Stone. Black and dark brown. Cross-section is oval. Surface is mostly ground, with bruising on butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced forming small shoulder, sides taper towards poll. Indentation on proper left of front upper butt. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Large fragment missing from proper left blade. Hedgehope Southland written on front.
