Complete roughout. Stone. Dark grey, mid grey, dark brown, light brown. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is mostly flaked. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is worked, but unfinished. Cutting edge is sharpened on proper left side, but becomes blunt on proper right side. "Papanui Inlet" written on back of both pieces.n Repaired break between butt and blade.
