Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section of blade is rectangular, cross-section of butt is oval. Surfaces of front blade and bevel are ground. All other surfaces are bruised, with some flaking. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced, front slopes down to poll. Poll flaked so it angles down. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp, chip on proper right side of cutting edge. Central Otago written on front and back.
