Adze, Toki
Complete Oval cross-section Bruised surface with flake scars on bevel and butt, visible crack at mend The front and sides of the butt are slightly reduced above the shoulders and widen again at the rounded poll. The bevel is continuous with the blade but appears to be a darker colour than the blade. The cutting edge is curved and asymmetrical with large flake scars The butt of the adze had been broken off and has been glued back on the blade. Each piece still has a part number written on it (butt D33.1984 a and blade D33.1984 b)
