Complete adze. Black stone. Surface is ground and bruised. Cross-section is rectangular. No differentiation between butt and blade; sides taper toward poll. Bevel is demarcated by a curved line and change in surface. Cutting edge is curved and sharp. "McClennan River Taukupu Bay" inscription on the front.
