Complete adze Asymmetrical cross-section The surface is ground, with some bruising and unground areas of stone. There is no differentiation between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper towards the poll. The bevel is demarcated by a faint line. The cutting edge is sharp and curved, with a large chip at the centre.
