Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Dark brown stone. Flat oval cross-section. The surface is mostly bruised with large flake scars on the blade, butt and cutting edge. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade narrow with rough flake scars to the poll. There is no demarcation of the bevel, the blade just slopes slightly towards the cutting edge which is blunt and irregular. A starburst sticker on one side reads "Pahia 1900"
