Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Light brown/grey stone. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is mostly ground with bruising and flake scars. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is straight and chipped. There is a circular starburst sticker on the back that reads: "Found by James Pearson at Orepuki 1900 (July) R.D."
