Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Greenstone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is ground with bruising on the sides and flake scars on the sides and butt. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper in towards the poll. The bevel is demarcated by an uneven ridge. The cutting edge is straight, sharp and on an angle.
