Gouge, Whao
Broken pounamu gouge, lower blade remaining. The cross section is circular. The surface is ground, with flaking at the break and at the cutting edge. Both sides of the cutting edge are bevelled, both bevels are demarcated by curved lines. The cutting edge is chipped off.
