Adze, Gouge, Toki

Complete adze. The cross section is trapezoidal with the front narrower than the back. The surface is flaked. There is minor differentiation between the butt and the blade as the two sides taper in towards the poll and the front has minor raised shoulders. The bevel is demarcated by an oblique ridge at the chin. The blade is curved. The cutting edge is sharp, carved and flaked.
