Chisel, Whao
Complete pounamu chisel. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is ground, on front and back. The butt and cutting edge are bruised. There is minor demarcation between the butt and blade, with the sides tapering towards the poll and the back reduced. The bevel is demarcated by a straight line. The cutting edge is straight and blunt, with chipping.
