Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Basalt. Dark grey. Cross-section of butt is oval, cross-section of blade is rectangular. Surface is bruised, with some ground areas on front and back on lower blade. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced forming small shoulder. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, heavily chipped. "Clutha" written on front and back.
