Adze, Toki

Complete adze. Grey stone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is ground and flaked. The butt has more flake scars than the blade but is otherwise not differentiated. The bevel is demarcated by an asymmetrical curved ridge which has a flake scar at its centre. The cutting edge is straight, sharp and chipped.
