Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Cross-section is oval. Surface is ground on front and bevel, flaking on sides and back and two large flake scars on bevel, some bruising on sides. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, but large flake scars disrupt surface. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped. "Pareora" written on front and back.
