Complete adze. Cross-section is oval at butt, becoming more rectangular towards blade. Surface is ground on lower blade, with flaking on back and proper right and front of butt, bruising on front and proper left side of butt. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is sharp and curved. "Pareora" written on front.
