Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Mid grey stone. Surface is bruised. Cross-section is oval. Major differentiation between butt and blade, with a ridge at the shoulders on the front and another ridge at the poll. Sides of the blade are slightly tapered towards the cutting edge. Bevel is demarcated by a ridge. Cutting edge is curved and blunt, with a large flake missing from the centre. "Temuka" inscription.
