Gouge, Whao
Complete pounamu gouge. The cross section is pentagonal. The surface is ground with flaking on the proper left, poll and front. The front of the gouge is created by sawing marks, with flaking along the sawing break. The bevel is demarcated by a concave wearing. The cutting edge is curved and sharp, with chipping on the proper right.
