Pendant, Stone, Worked, He Kura
Carved piece of red argillite, use unknown. Surface is ground and cross section is lenticular. One end is reduced, with curved side edges and a decorative end edge, similar to the butt of a patu. There is a Y-shaped carving on each side, creating shoulders with raised projections. Below the projections, the side edges are straight, and the other end edge is broken. There is a groove running lengthwise down the centre on both sides, slightly curved. One of the Y-shaped carvings has been outlined in pencil.
