Pendant, He Kura
Complete pounamu/nephrite pendant. Light green with a band of black and silver running diagonally across the centre. The distal end is reduced on one side below the band. Surface is ground and flaked with chipping on some of the edges. Proximal end has a very small suspension hole and a notch at the top and one side, possibly indicating an animal or human face. Side edges are straight and the distal end is squared off.
