Adze, Toki
Broken adze with part of the blade remaining. The cross section is asymmetrical. The surface is ground mostly, but it is flaked where the butt and the proper right hand side are missing. There are two saw marks; one along the cutting edge on the front and the second on the proper right hand side of the bevel, just above the cutting edge The butt is not present. The bevel is demarcated by a small line at the chine. The cutting edge is straight and sharp with three chips in the middle.
