Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Mid grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is mostly ground, some flaking scars on front of butt. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Large chip on proper left, smaller chips along cutting edge. Tarewai.Pt. written on front.
