Complete adze. Stone. Mid grey, light grey. Cross-section is semi-circular, back flattened. Surface is mostly ground, flaking on sides and poll. Major differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced forming shoulder, lower on blade that usual. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. 479 written on bevel; Tarewai Point written on front.
