Complete adze. Grey stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground and bruised. No differentiation between butt and blade. Bevel is demarcated by a change in surface from ground to bruised. Cutting edge is curved and sharp with a large flake missing from proper right side. "Papanui" inscription"
