Broken adze, blade remaining. Black and grey stone. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with the back wider than the front. Surface is bruised on the front and ground on the back. Butt is not present. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is only present on proper right side, where it is sharp and curved. "Papanui" inscription
