Complete adze. Pounamu. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground with some flaking around the butt. Major differentiation between butt and the blade, with sides tapered towards the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a curved line. Cutting edge is assymetrically curved and sharp. "Papanui" inscription
