Complete adze Cross-section is asymmetrical Surface is ground with bruising on proper left side and around butt. Sawing marks on proper right side. Additional sawing marks running through the entire length of the adze on the front and halfway up the back Differentiation between the butt and blade, sides are tapered towards the poll Bevel is demarcated by a curved line and an additional straight line close to the cutting edge. Cutting edge is straight and sharp with an indentation on the proper right side created by sawing marks
