Chisel, Whao
Pounamu/nephrite chisel, dark green kawakawa variety. Surface is ground, but flaked on the proper right side. Well-defined symmetrical proportions with sharpened cutting edge. Bevel is demarcated by a line on both sides. Front also has two line demarcations running lengthwise along the sides. Sawing marks on proper left side. Proximal end is broken.
