Chisel, Whao

Broken pounamu chisel, only lower blade remaining. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is ground with bruising on the broken edge. The bevel is demarked by a straight line. The two sides both have sawing marks. The proper left has a sawing mark on the back. The proper right has sawing marks on the top and bottom. The cutting edge is straight and sharp.
