Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Light grey. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface of blade is ground, with bruising on butt. Major differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced forming shoulder. Size of butt indicates a larger blade than is now present, possibly a broken adze that has been reworked after breaking. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and oblique with rounded corners and chipping. "12/9/21" written on back. "Shag River" written on front.
