Complete pounamu adze. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground and bruised. Major differentiation between the butt and blade; sides are reduced to form shoulders. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is irregularly curved and sharp. "Papanui Inlet" inscription
