Adze, Toki
Incomplete adze, blade and bevel end only. Dark grey stone. The cross-section is round at the bevel end and irregular rectangular at the other. The surface is flaked and bruised, and ground on all sides of the bevel end. There is no butt, but a reduction in the front and back of the blade. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is narrow, sharp and straight.
