Complete adze. Basalt. Black. Cross-section is oval. Surface of front of lower blade and back are ground, butt and sides are bruised. Major differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is sharp and curved. "Waikouaiti" written on front.
