Chisel, Whao
Complete pounamu gouge. The surface is ground with flaking at on the front towards the poll. Tapered at both ends. The front comes to a point, which runs the length of the gouge, in line with the bevel. The bevel is demarked by a curved line. The cutting edge is straight and sharp, with some chipping.
