Adze, Toki
Large complete adze. Black stone. Rectangular cross-section. The surface is ground on the front and back of the blade, and bruised on the sides, butt and chin. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The bevel is smooth and continuous wth the blade until a defined chin across the front. The cutting edge is sharp with several chips.
