Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Black stone. Cross-section is oval on the butt and triangular on the blade. Surface is ground flaked. Major differentiation between butt and blade; sides of butt heavily reduced to form shoulders. Bevel is demarcated by a curved line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp but chipped. "Waimate." inscription on the back and front.
