Adze, Toki

Complete adze, broken near shoulder and glued back together. Light grey stone. Surface is ground with bruising on the butt. Cross-section is rectangular. Front and sides of the butt are reduced to form shoulders and a ridge. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is not present due to flaking. "Pareora." inscription on back and proper right side.
