Adze, Toki

Complete adze. Black stone. Rounded quadrangular cross-section. The surface is mostly bruised with ground areas on the bevel end of the blade. There is a protruding shoulder on the front of the blade and a reduction in the stone to form the front of the butt. There is no distinction between the bevel and the blade. The bevel is slightly concave. The cutting edge is chipped.
