Adze, Toki
Complete adze. The cross section is approximately rectangular, but a large fragment is missing from the back and proper left side. The surface is flaked on the sides, bruised on the front and ground on the back. There is a small, rectangular piece of paper adhered to the front. There is a white blemish or stain at the centre of the chin. There is minor differentiation of the butt by an increased reduction from the shoulder to the poll. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and sharp, with minor chipping.
